A brief outline of what happens at a party:
An agent will be at your home at an agreed time. She plays an “ice-breaker” game followed by a demonstration (which lasts about an hour) on the lingerie, novelties and adult toys. Then she goes through to a separate room to receive guests individually ensuring privacy and providing an opportunity to ask questions.
Guests pay the agent on the spot and depending on availability, customers will either take their purchases home with them from the party, in a brown paper packet OR will receive a postal/ courier delivery within five working days. Delivery will be charged R95 per order.
We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards. Buying is done in a separate room ensuring privacy and strict confidentiality. You, as the hostess, go through to buy last, by which time your discount (5% of guests’ sales) will be calculated - This depends on the current promotion for the month .
Please note that the party takes between 3 and 4hours in total.
We try and encourage a minimum of 15 guests at a party and there is no maximum. If you’re battling for numbers, ask your friends to bring friends. Also, remind your guests to bring payment for their goods.
Once you have confirmed your booking details, I will email an invitation to you, which you need to forward to your guests or print and hand to them. Please note that sometimes we get fully booked weeks in advance, so please contact me ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Costs: (effective 1 January 2018)
If you are hosting the party at your home for a group of ladies (or couples) interested in buying our products, we do require a refundable booking fee of R350, paid within 5 working days from making a booking. This is to ensure that parties are not cancelled at the last minute, especially where other parties were shown away due to a formal booking being in place. Refunded after sales of R3500 or more.
If a Romantic Adventures agent travels more that 40 kms to you, from the regional head office, then we charge the current AA travel rate per kilometre for kms travelled over and above the 40kms..
The charge for kitchen teas/hens nights/pamper parties/bridal showers/ladies nights at a venue is R500.00. That charge is refundable, depending on sales of R5000 and more. This is just to ensure that we aren’t used as free entertainment and to make sure that the agent is also getting her time and effort rewarded.
Romantic Adventures operates on a first come, first served basis and your deposit confirms your booking.
